I needed the name of each hamlet, the names of the mountains in the distance or close by, also those of the streams, their source, their direction and endless details about what related to the whole country: geography, history, legend etc.

Two original paintings by André Maire are presented. The painter, humanist and traveller, who settled in Saigon in the 1920s, had as his master and mentor Emile Bernard, an artist associated, like Gauguin, with the Pont-Aven School.
The fresco at the head of the bed was created by Sabine Ducarn (@sabineducarn), a painter from Rennes, based on works by André Maire.
